10.0 "Malcesine felt instantly welcoming this time. The mix of lake views, mountain air and narrow stone streets made it easy to slow down and just enjoy being there. Taking the cable car up Monte Baldo was a really great experience, quiet, beautiful, open feeling you get in spring."
Go early for the cable car to avoid the lines and wear decent shoes.

10.0 "The lake itself is stunningly beautiful, of course, but what really caught my attention was the laid-back atmosphere in the towns around it. Walking through the streets, I loved hearing snippets of conversations in Italian from local cafés. The gelato was fantastic (seriously, pistachio changed my life!), and there was something uniquely calming about just sitting by the water, watching sailboats glide across."
- Try to stay in one of the smaller towns rather than the bigger tourist hubs; you'll get a much more authentic experience, plus the restaurants are usually better and cheaper.

- Nucht zu vergessen die gute regionale Küche mit ihren besonderen Weinen ( Lugana, Garganega, Valpolicella , Amarone )
